Shalom House Coast Path Challenge

Step up to the Shalom House Coast Path Challenge

Staff and volunteers from Shalom House Palliative Care launched the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path Challenge on 22nd June with an open invitation for Pembrokeshire residents and visitors to walk a small section of the coastal path.

Willing walkers who want to raise funds for this event, will be able to pledge to walk a section of the total 186 miles of the beautiful and dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline.

The event is open until 31st August 2019. The registration fee is £10.00 and walkers will receive a t-shirt and sponsorship pack when signing up.

A Coastal Path map at Shalom House will be used to log the walkers’ pledges.  Challenge updates and routes still available for walking, will be posted on the Shalom House Facebook page. Walkers will be invited to share their challenge pictures and stories on Facebook and Instagram.

Sian Ranahan, Fundraiser at Shalom House, says:

“We are inviting everybody to get involved in this fantastic challenge event to help Shalom House fund the specialist care that it is able to provide to adults with life limiting illnesses in Pembrokeshire. It’s going to be a great event and the ideal opportunity to support your own health and wellbeing, whilst having lots of fun walking the coastal path with family and friends”.
