Many of us love to cook from scratch and the best bit (apart from eating the final dish of course!) is being able to share that delicious recipe you’ve made with a friend. If you’re interested in natural healthy living and most specifically, cooking and eating healthy food, you may like to join the new Healthy Soul Mates Recipe Share Facebook group.
Hosted by Lise Matthews from The Ark healthy living shop and clinic in Haverfordwest, the group has been created to encourage people to be mindful of the foods they’re eating and to feel inspired by the recipes others are discovering, trying out and sharing.
Important to note is that although the group has ‘healthy’ in its title, Lise wants you to remember that most foods are fine when absorbed in moderation, so let’s not be too picky about whether something is classed as ‘healthy’ or not… every body is unique and our needs as a human are too.
So far the group has shared delicious recipe ideas including:
- Smashed avocado with tomatoes and basil on sourdough
- Easy keto buns with vanilla
- Kefir mini pancakes
- Chicken, sweet potato and coconut curry
- Gluten free strawberry tarts with almond pastry
In addition to gathering foodie inspiration in the Facebook group, The Ark is also gathering some recipe favourites on their website for you to browse when you’re feeling creative. And of course, if you need to pick up some of the ingredients mentioned, The Ark healthy living shop has an array of specialist foods in stock, also available to order.
Healthy Soul Matters podcast coming soon!
As Lise has owned and managed The Ark since 2011 and is a practising kinesiologist, Bowen Technique practitioner and partner in The Nutrition Detectives, she has an abundance of natural living inspiration and advice to share. She is working on some great little snippets to form a podcast which will be online soon.
