men2men singing group (PEMBS) 11 Dec & ongoing
men2men are starting a fun, easy access singing group for men, at Newport Memorial Hall, led by the highly experienced local choirmaster Henry Sears. We will focus on rousing songs such as "Lean on Me". Every man welcome, no previous singing experience necessary. Singing in a men's group is a great and uplifting experience! Give it a go!!

Make a Matisse Collage (ONLINE) 30 Dec
To celebrate the birthday of Henri Matisse tomorrow 31 December 1869, we will be producing a collage using Christmas wrapping paper. For this session you will need markers or a selection of papers, scissors, glue and a piece of board to work upon. You can watch the live demonstration on Facebook at 12:30 and then join our Zoom tutorial at 2pm, but book early as spaces are limited

Beginners Hedgelaying workshop (PEMBS) 16 Jan
Hedgelaying is a traditional countryside craft that promotes a habitat for numerous bird's, small mammals and insect's as well as providing a stockproof boundary. The process of laying the hedgerows promotes regrowth and provides on ongoing natural resource cutting out the need for expensive post and wire fencing. Come along and gain knowledge, practical working experience and leave with the confidence to take on your own hedgelaying projects. £20 per person per day.

Described by one chorister as 'a spa for the soul', the Forget-me-not Chorus uses the power of song to support those living with and alongide dementia through weekly singing sessions. Reaching over 300 people a week ranging in age from 20-100, we run 4 community choirs, 5 care home choirs and one in a hospital setting throughout Wales.
