Did you know that lifelong learning is good for your health?
In fact, it’s the very reason ‘Keep learning’ is one of the Six Ways to Wellbeing – the positive framework designed to help us live healthier, happier, more balanced lives.
Researchers have found that adult learning can help reduce anxiety, depression and loneliness, as well as lift your self-confidence and improve motivation. Not only can it enhance your wellbeing, but it also give you an opportunity to develop new life skills and boost your career prospects.
So, if learning something new is on your New Year’s Resolution list, here are some useful local resources to check out!

Of course, there are often lots of smaller local organisations that offer courses on a huge range of topics, from arts and crafts to learning Welsh.
Facebook is a great place to find other opportunities on in the area – keep an eye on the Life Seeker Facebook Page or join the Ways to Live Well in West Wales Facebook group as both often feature workshops, activities and courses happening locally.
