As part of our mission to inspire the west Wales community to nurture their physical and mental health, Life Seeker entered a team of superheroes into Kapow, a 5k inflatable obstacle course on 4th May 2019.
We’re passionate about inspiring people to get outside, connect with new friends, try something new and stay active and so those that participated in Kapow benefited personally as well as being able to contribute to Paul Sartori, a worthy cause doing continuously good work in West Wales for those with life-limiting illness.
Many of the race participants have experienced the heartache and suffering life-limiting illness has on surrounding family members and have full appreciation for the work that hospice care provides when it really matters.
All participants paid to enter the race from their own funds and many of us are trainined for the challenge over a few months, simply to have enough energy to run the 5k, get over the giant obstacles and get to the finish!
In total Team Life Seeker raised £366 for Paul Sartori Foundation, a good start to our ‘fundraising career’ and the first of many.
