The Pembrokeshire Community Hub was started during the Covid-19 pandemic and was a great support to over 9,500 people who called for help and assistance with deliveries and other needs.
The Hub was such a success that it has been decided to make it a permanent feature in Pembrokeshire and on Monday 6th June (10am-4pm) at Scolton Manor, we’re hosting a Community Activity and Wellbeing Day to celebrate the re-launch of this fantastic project.

Firstly, we’ve arranged for parking to be free on the day but, if you don’t drive, we’ve thought of you too – there will be a shuttle bus running from Haverfordwest Bus Station to Scolton Manor. The bus will leave Stand 4 of Haverfordwest Bus Station at both 10am and 11am and will return at 2:50pm and 4:10pm. We’ll also be live on Pure West Radio from 10-1pm with the effervescent Toby Ellis!

There will be a host of Pembrokeshire projects with us – and all will have interactive stands with activities for everyone – try some tasty pizza samples from the on-site pizza oven…not a pizza fan? There will also be smoothies and frittatas to sample from PLANED and Pembrokeshire College. Norman Industries will have a marquee selling food and drink at a discounted price for those attending and you can also visit the Station Cafe for a tasty cake.

Younger children can play with ‘Muddy Wellies’ – activities led by a local Forest School….while event attendees young and old are welcome to have their face painted – free of charge! The fantastically talented Jamuna from Funki Faces will be at the event to transform faces with colourful pictures and artistic swirls.

The bikes available for hire will be free on the day to our event attendees so you can borrow a bike and cycle around the park taking in the beautiful scenery as you go! Fancy something a bit more leisurely? The National Park’s Walking for Wellbeing project will be leading a gentle wellbeing walk in the afternoon.

Visit our marketplace of stands and find out about energy saving tips from NEST, hear about the very latest projects including the Library of Things – a fantastic way to save money and the environment AND get the things you need!! Find out more about the work of the Scouts, the Wales Air Ambulance and meet some of the dogs from Cariad Pet Therapy!
(You don’t have to wait ’til our launch event – click the Pembrokeshire Circle logo right now to visit the Library of Things)
Between 11 and 12:30pm, come and hear about the way that Pembrokeshire Community Hub was formed, what it has achieved so far and, the exciting developments as it becomes a permanent feature in the County. Meet the team who will support the running of the Hub and take away some official Hub merchandise with all the details you need to speak to us.
We’ve put in an order for some good weather but, even if Pembrokeshire doesn’t oblige, there will be plenty to do inside and under cover!
Don’t forget, the rest of Scolton Manor will be open – you can visit the bees, take a tour of the house or just relax in the spacious gardens – read more about the facilities here
