Neyland Community School teachers create ‘Miss You’ film for pupils

Clare Hewitt, Headteacher at Neyland Community School asked teachers isolating at home to take a selfie of them holding a ‘miss you/stay safe’ message to share as part of a short film for their pupils during the Easter holiday.

Staff went to town creating personal crafted messages, many decorated with coloured pens and rainbows with one lady going to the trouble of contributing some beach art.

The result was a beautiful example of community in action and it was received with great emotion by parents, pupils and teachers who shared their gratitude via Facebook.

Headteacher Clare said,

“I made the film because I think connection is so important for everyone at all times. Never underestimate the power of human connection and developing relationships, especially when we’re all feeling so isolated at this time”.
