Milford Haven Street Food Festival is all set to return to Milford Waterfront for 28th and 29th of this month, over August Bank holiday. The festival is run by Street Food Warehouse, based in Cardiff and will see its third year of mouth-watering offerings, providing some of the best worldwide cuisine for carnivores, veggies and vegans with a series of street food vendors taking part. This year they’re bringing a brand-new sponsor, Jubel, with their selection of fruity beers to quench the thirst of visitors to the Marina.
The family friendly street food festival has been very successful in the past few years, gaining a following among foodies of all kinds, attracting visitors to Pembrokeshire as well as offering local and national businesses a chance to become part of the buzz and show all they have to offer. Some of those involved this year include Milford based business Duttys, who serve individual cheesecakes from their vintage van, as well as Chok Shop, the ‘brownie HQ’ from Abergavenny (see last year’s post on Dessert Heaven).
Laura, who owns Duttys with her husband Adam, said of the festival’s return,
“This year has been a very challenging year for anyone in the catering industry, it’s been tough! So we are really looking forward to getting back out there doing what we love.
Milford food street food festival was a lovely atmosphere last year and what’s even better for us is that it’s our hometown. The atmosphere is thriving, good food being served, chilled drinks and a view that takes your breath away. It’s the place to be! We hope you see as many people as possible there, from locals to the tourists that are visiting our beautiful home of Pembrokeshire.”
Entry to the festival is free. Tickets must be purchased to attend and tables can be booked for outside dining.
