Ceredigion Mobile and Virtual Youth Services

Make the most of new mobile and virtual youth services in Ceredigion

Are you a young person looking for something to do in Ceredigion?

Maybe you’d like a bit of guidance to help you reach your true potential?

Then why not contact Ceredigion Youth Service? They support young people between the ages of 11 and 25, providing youth workers in local schools, weekly youth clubs in Cardigan, Lampeter, Aberaeron and Penparcau, a community outreach team, educational workshops and holiday activity programmes.

They’ve also recently begun to expand their services with the aid of a £99,000 National Lottery grant for a mobile youth centre. The new mobile provision will enable more young people in the rural and isolated areas of the county to access all the great services they offer.

While face to face support has been difficult due to lockdown, it’s hoped services will return to a more normal state in the near future. In the meantime, the team have established a strong virtual presence for local youngsters on the Youth Services Facebook page. Here you’ll find plenty of activities to join in with like cooking, arts and crafts, brain teasers and fitness challenges, as well as relaxation and mindfulness tips to try if you’re feeling stressed. You can also join live chats with the team for more information and advice.

So, if you want to get involved, check out the Youth Services website or drop them an email at Youth@ceredigion.gov.uk.
