Food Hub at Foundry House to help the local community

Foundry House in Pembroke has launched their food hub, offering fresh products to those that most need it within the community. The project facilitates volunteers to link with food producers and suppliers to have easy access to healthy and great value food.

The food Hub launched in June, in association with PLANED and the WCFD who state they were proud to support the launch of the volunteer run community food hubs to increase access to fresh and great value food.

The community food hub, the firs of its kind in Wales, will initially offer fresh fruit and vegetables with a view to growing produce range in the future.

Peter Coleman Trustee says ‘it’s brilliant to have a community food hub within the Foundry House! It’s a great offer to the local area – convenient too!’
