Haverfordwest based charity, The Thorne Mason Trust, who support people in Pembrokeshire affected by a brain tumour or cancer are holding a black-tie ball on 23rd March 2019 at Beggars Reach Hotel to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
Thorne Mason Trust was founded by Mike Mason in March 2009, after his own diagnosis with a grade 4 brain tumour. Since it was formed, Mike’s family and friends have continued to run the charity providing complementary support to anyone in Pembrokeshire facing the effects of a brain tumour or cancer diagnosis, including patients, families and carers.
The trust also works in association with Brain Tumour Research to fund research into an aggressive form of brain tumour known as glioblastoma multiforme.
The event invites everyone to enjoy a fun-filled gala evening which will include a silent auction, three course dinner, live band and DJ.
With help from supporters, the trust is hoping to raise essential funds to develop and enhance their brain tumour support services across the county.

Jessie Ballard, Chair of the trust, says,
“We are so excited to be holding what will be our biggest fundraising event to date. The amount of support we have received from local businesses for this event has been overwhelming, meaning that we have a fantastic range of prizes for our silent auction. We are extremely proud of what we have been able to achieve over the past 10 years and look forward to celebrating this at the event.”
Tickets for the event are £35
