Last year, we wrote about the beginning of the SPAN Arts autumn season of Art Well activities including Theatr Soffa (community online theatre), Remote Choir (singing in care homes) and Shared Worlds (creative writing for wellbeing).
The aim of the project was to provide opportunities for people who have been isolated by the pandemic for various reasons, to access quality art forms in order to connect and improve their health and wellbeing.
Their short film highlights,
“At the end of project, 62% of participants said they ‘have been feeling close to other people’ as opposed to 31% at the beginning.”
Take a look below to understand more about how people benefited from this fantastic work.
