Beginner photography workshops & charity calendar

Pembrokeshire is without doubt, one of the most stunning and most photographed landscapes in the UK. Its rugged coastline, turquoise blue seas and wildlife enjoying their natural habitat continues to attract worldwide attention, from bodies like National Geographic and Lonely Planet.

So with all these professional photographers having the pleasure of capturing this stunning piece of West Wales, shouldn’t we amateur photographers grab a little slice of the paradise pie?

If you have an interest in taking photographs and find yourself drawn to pulling out your phone or DSLR at almost every opportunity to capture that ‘fantastic view’, perhaps you’d like to take it a step further and spend some time with Rachel Mullet on one of her Pembrokeshire Photography Workshops, at a beautiful location to suit you.

Rachel grew up on the Dale Peninsula and spent her childhood walking, playing and rowing around the coastline of Marloes and Dale. She later trained as a photographer and created Pembrokeshire Moments as a way to share the beauty of her home with others.

Alongside many others, Rachel diversified her business as lockdown came into play and since then she has been teaching beginner photographers how to get the best out of their camera by exploring some of the basics in ‘manual mode’.

In addition to this, Rachel hosts an interactive Facebook Group in which amateur photographers post their personal photographs in response to a weekly theme, set by Rachel or one of the group members. The group is a great way to see how others capture scenes and objects and to receive basic tips from Rachel when she comments on the posts. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to get creative and to enjoy the therapeutic process of planning, capturing and sharing your work, just for fun.

If you’d like to explore your photography hobby further, take a look at Rachel’s Pembrokeshire Photography Workshops – you can even purchase a workshop as a Christmas gift and book the date another time to suit you.

You can also join the Pembrokeshire Photography Workshops Facebook Group here.
