Make a fresh start in 2021 with a January yoga detox

OK, so Christmas hasn’t even happened yet, but it’s the time of year when many of us are already looking ahead to the lifestyle changes we might want to start come January. If washing away all the negativity of 2020 and the excesses of the festive season are on your new year’s resolutions list, a yoga detox workshop could be just the thing to put a spring in your step for 2021.

Fortunately, West Wales wellbeing guru Leanne Bird has devised an online New Year Yoga Detox programme to help you reach your 2021 health and wellness goals. Scheduled for Sunday 17th January, the one-day retreat is designed to teach you how to bring more balance into your life and create sustainable change. The course takes a holistic approach to improving mental and physical wellness, incorporating advice on eating cleaner, taking back control of your mind and staying active.

The day will incorporate yoga practices and principles to relax and detox both your body and mind. And if you’re new to yoga, don’t worry! It doesn’t matter whether you’re experienced or a beginner – the practices are suited to all abilities.

If you’ve ever tried a quick fix or taken on too many health and fitness goals at once, you’ll know how easy it is to get disheartened and give up. It all gets a bit overwhelming and before you know it, you’re back to raiding the biscuit tin. However, Leanne takes a step by step approach, concentrating on incorporating smaller, achievable adjustments over time, so you’re much more likely to maintain those positive changes for life.

So, if a fresh start in the new year is just what you need, don’t miss out! The retreat costs £30 and you can register your interest here or visit the Leanne Bird Wellbeing & Adventure website for more information on a range of wellbeing courses.
