£20k fund to support innovative activities and services developed by people with learning disabilities

People living with learning disabilities across the West Wales counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion have the opportunity to apply for up to £20,000 funding to support new projects developed in direct response to themes identified within the West Wales Learning Disabilities Charter.

The grant, funded by the Welsh Government’s Integrated Care Fund and available for third sector organisations and statutory bodies to run a project truly co-produced with people living with learning disabilities, will provide an opportunity to come up with ideas for new activities and services and test out how well the ideas work in practice.

Applications for round two of the grant which is co-produced and approved by people with learning disabilities will be submitted in ‘Easy to Read’ format.

Life Seeker assisted in the creation of a short film about the West Wales Learning Disabilities Charter – watch it here to understand more.

The deadline for submission of applications is Monday 16th May 2022 and an online Q&A session is taking place offering the opportunity for groups to ask questions and gather information to strengthen their applications from 2pm – 3pm on Friday 29th April 2022. Click here to book a place.
