“We stayed in the Tipi after finding that we couldn’t rent a cottage in the area for a few days over the bank holiday weekend. (They were all 7 day lets).

We booked into the tipi for 3 nights, and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable we were on the futon beds, and how clean the toilets and shower block were. The sea view from the Tipi is incredible, and you feel truly blessed to have that to yourselves.

Hilton Court restaurants are a 1 minute walk away – and the restaurant/cafes open at 10am, so bring a kettle if you can’t wait for coffee in the morning!

As a non camping family, we are now converted to the fun of tipi-ing! A big thank you to Sally, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and help us with a smooth check in. We will be back!

Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend? Yes.”

“Thanks Sally and Dave for the stay. We had a great time at the Tipi and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay that allowed us to get closer to nature. Good facilities provided for BBQ-ing and good bathroom facilities/sinks close by. Thanks again :)”

“Really straight forward, although I was local to the area, Sally made me and my kids feel welcome. An upgrade on our usual camping trip but well worth the extra. Very clean and the site had everything you needed, including the best toilet and showering facilities I’ve had on a camping trip. Couldn’t fault it.”

“We initially booked our stay because we were attending a wedding at Hilton Court, this seemed perfect as we would be on location with no worries about finding transport elsewhere.

We were greeted by Sally on arrival to the wedding, and shown the ins and outs on what was provided, how to work the tipi door etc. (This was 2 hours earlier than original check-in time which meant not having to pop out of the wedding mid way through – brill!)

Its location is nice and privately tucked away but with amazing views, and the communal dome next to the tipi was much larger than anticipated!

Inside the tipi was also extremely spacious and just perfect for us. Very comfortable nights stay, barely felt like “camping”! We brought plenty of blankets in case it turned colder, but didn’t need too many. We were lucky with great weather, but even if it had turned I think it would have been sheltered and snug enough!

My only regret… not booking 2 nights and being able to enjoy the out door space a bit more! Fab upcycled outdoor furniture and fire pit/BBQ.

Will definitely book again, perfect for either a couples get away or to enjoy with friends.”

“A beautiful tipi with a beautiful view. Sally was super helpful and booked us last minute with no problem. There was a wedding on that night but it could hardly be heard. Great fire pit and water and toilet facilities nearby.

Couldn’t have asked for more, would 100% recommend. And the sunsets are amazing!”

The view over St Brides bay…… just wow! The space….. just wow! Those 2 things deserve the 5 stars on their own!

The tipi itself was surprisingly spacious and was more than enough for our family of 4. It was immaculately presented and had everything we needed in there. The beds were really comfortable, which made for some good sleeps!

The dome on the side wasn’t booked up over our stay which meant we could utilise it, and it made for an excellent extra space. Whether that was for the children to play in or when the evening drew a bit darker and colder. We all chilled out in there for a bit before heading to bed in the tipi.

The upcycled furniture was another excellent addition, we made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. All the extras like utensils were at hand, Which saved us bringing our own!

The toilets were a little bit of a stroll for the little ones, but they enjoyed going hunting for them!

Sally was very welcoming and helpful, and left us to get on with enjoying our family adventure.

Thank you very much, I will definitely be recommending to everyone I speak to!

It felt like we were in our own little bubble. We had our own piece of Pembrokeshire paradise!

“I just wanted to say a quick thank you for the brilliant tipi experience we had on Saturday. We all had a great time. So thank you and we will hopefully be returning at some point and definitely recommending to friends.”

“The tipi is very nicely situated on a hill overlooking the sea. We booked very quickly and Sally provided us a blanket. It is recommended to bring warm clothes and maybe a camping mat because the bed is a bit hard.

There is a toilet and a shower on site. We also had the possibility to make a small bonfire in a fire bowl. Grilling is possible, but we went to the nearest pub about 15 min away food.

Overall the tipi is highly recommended!”

Owner response:

“Hi Sandra – thanks for your kind review of the tipi and pleased you enjoyed your stay in Pembrokeshire. We have taken note of your comment about the bed and have now added a 2nd mattress to the double futon to provide a more comfortable experience. We hope you will return to see us if you return to the area one day ;)”
