It’s a common misconception that those living a ‘happy life’ have been rewarded in some way. A large section of society experiences some form of physical or mental health challenge during their lifetime and we are keen to show our readers (via interviews with individuals) that,
We ALL have the ability to manage and improve our wellbeing, through choices about how we think and the things we do.
By sharing your story, you will be providing food for thought and inspiration to instigate positive action in others, plus benefit personally from writing about yourself (several people have described it as a therapeutic process).
We ask you to share your personal experience of mental health challenges (past or current) and the techniques/resources that help overcome them. Your challenge can be singular or multiple and as minor or major as you choose. Interviews are conducted via written Q&A.
The most important part of this process is to feel comfortable supporting the concept that ‘it’s ok not to be ok’ and to encourage others to talk openly about mental health.
