You need ZERO EXPERIENCE to join a laughter workshop.
Here’s what it’s all about:
- Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine which combines unconditional laughter with yoga breathing.
- Laughter is initially stimulated as a physical exercise while maintaining eye contact with others in the group and promoting childlike playfulness. In most cases, this leads to real contagious laughter.
- Science has proven that the body cannot differentiate against fake or real laughter.
- Laughter Yoga is a powerful cardio workout and just 10 minutes of hearty laughter is equal to 30 minutes on the rowing machine (in terms of increasing blood circulation and relaxing the muscles).*

On the day
We recommend you wear lose/comfortable clothing. The session begins with a gentle warm up, including chanting, clapping and body movement. This is followed by a series of laughter exercises. Following your ‘work out’ we will gather for refreshments and admire the view over Hilton Court Gardens.
