Smiles at The Hilton Happy Weekend

The Hilton Happy Weekend

What a fantastically magical weekend we have just celebrated at Hilton Court Gardens & Crafts for The Hilton Happy Weekend.

I’m rarely left speechless (as my good friends will tell you) yet after countless hours of creative planning, meticulous prep and ‘on the day’ coordination, it was quite frankly overwhelming to see the happiness we had managed to create as the Life Seeker team.

The atmosphere was ELECTRIC, here’s a little peek at what happened.

Children and adults matching, cutting and gluing beautiful fabrics to make bunting.

People from 2 years to 80 years giggling and smiling as they donned comedy props for #thesmilefiles photo booth to compete for a Scoff Box of MamGu Welshcakes.

Squeals of delight as families adventured through Hilton Gardens awash with Bluebells, enjoyed the hedgehog crafts and discovered the miniature houses.

Inquisitive conversations and learnings with Leona on the herb discovery walk.

Conversations in the mini hub as people discovered positive lifestyle providers

Sarah and Daisy told people about the launch of the Daisybus Gardens of Wellbeing and gardening for bees from their iconic Daisybus.

Determined and accomplished faces as families launched their very own kite made at the Hilton workshop (we helped make over 200 in total!).

Sounds of ‘ooh’ and ‘look at those floating legs’ (!) from those watching the kite flying spectacular with the Midland Kite Fliers Association.

Expressions of awe as people explored the Life Seeker tipi.

Stillness and calm as adults took time out to learn Viniyoga and enjoy a relaxation session in the Dome.

It’s not possible to re-create something on paper that you simply had to be there to enjoy, yet I’m doing my very best. This event represented the official launch of Life Seeker and we are beaming from ear to ear from it’s huge success.

So how does The Hilton Happy Weekend relate to Life Seeker as a positive lifestyle hub?

If you’re not yet aware of our mission, Life Seeker exists to help create a happier Wales. We believe it’s possible to create your own piece of happiness regardless of what is happening in your life.Life Seeker logo

We inspire people to take time out, to explore the principles of playing smart and living well and to do more of what they love.

Our Providers work with a passion for living a positive existence and we introduce you to their products and services via the hub so you can access ways to a happier and healthier life from one place (no more trawling multiple sites).

The Hilton Happy Weekend provided a taster of the Life Seeker concept and the chance to sample some of the activities you can benefit from via the hub.

Increasing your happiness and wellbeing doesn’t need to cost the earth, require specific knowledge or skills. It’s about allowing yourself to explore your vulnerability, letting go of preconceptions and literally opening your mind to something new.

For some, it’s a challenge to even venture from the sofa. Others struggle to find time to sit on it. Life Seeker is for anyone interested in exploring what else life has to offer. As our favourite saying goes;

“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” (Milton Berle).
