Elf on the Shelf – It’s not just for kids

We follow ‘Elf on the Shelf’ each Christmas and LOVE it because it’s just as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids.

If you’re not familiar with this festive craze, check out what it’s all about here.

When we found this calendar of Elf on the Shelf ideas from ARTventurers, we couldn’t resist getting involved and we hope you will too. This is NOT JUST FOR KIDS, in fact you don’t even need the excuse of having kids to take part.  After all,

Our age represents how many years of fun we’ve had”

Why get involved? Because being playful makes you happier and healthier.

How to take part

  1. Adopt an Elf by 1st Dec…don’t worry if you’re late! (we hear there are adoption centres at Tesco, B&M, Poundland, Home Bargains and if you’re in Pembrokeshire; Cherubs in Milford Haven, Vincent Davies in Haverfordwest)

  2. Give your Elf a name

  3. Take a snapshot of your Elf every day to show the activities they’ve been up to (based on the calendar of ideas above OR your own creativity!)

  4. Post your photos to our Facebook page (Life Seeker) or tag your own on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter post with #thesmilefiles
